Welcome back!

A lot has changed since the last time I posted, which was, *checks note*, 12 days ago. Oh!

But that is a topic for another post, tune back in!

Summer’s right around the corner, and in a perfect world, it’d mean summer break, summer vacation, a season of rest and relaxation, (I’m going to digress a bit and mention that people say we’re supposed to hibernate in winter, but I feel like we should work and get our affairs together in winter, and then take a summer-long vacation in summer; me thinks) but alas!

Anyways, I might not be able to look forward to a four-months break, but here are four fun things happening this summer that I am looking forward to.

The Barbie Movie

I can count how many Barbie movies I’ve seen on one hand, and if you ask me to name three Barbie movies, I might fail, but that is why I MUST not miss my second chance to participate in a cultural reset. History is being remade and this time I must relate.

Summer Dresses

Notice how the kid’s clothing section always has cute patterned dresses in various colours, but on a good day, you’d be lucky to find monocoloured adult dresses, and when we do get patterns, it’s an ugly tie-die, colour-blocking pattern. Well, this summer, I’m very particular about shopping for more cute patterned summer dresses, and I am actually looking forward to showing up at every event with a different summer dress.

What do you mean ‘consumerism’? I’ve never heard that word.

A Summer Get-Together

You know me, keeping the doctor away, one get-together at a time. I think as human beings, our lifespan increases each time we hang out with people we like, and seeing as I plan to live a very long life, I need to plan friends-get-togethers, like my life depends on it.

…And whatever is going on in Taylor Swift’s life, *hint hint, Matty Healy*. It’s not a complete summer if Taylor Swift is not giving us something to listen to. I remember Lover Summer, and then Folklore Summer, and I’m looking forward to another summer that I’d forever remember because of an album, and sprinkle a little controversy?… it’s a Taylor Swift’s Summer and I’m here for it.
